The business started in April 2014 with no real knowledge if we could make a success of it or not.  You like to think you could, but you just never know.  This makes it even more of a honour when industry experts and professionals believe in what you are trying to do.

In 2016 we have been awarded The Restaurant of the Year 2016 award by the Good Food Guide and it is an absolute honour to be acknowledged. The team has worked really hard to maintain and raise the standards and Nick and Mary could not be prouder of everyone that has worked with them to help make this work. Mary says that customers have been extremely supportive and played a real part in helping to achieve this success: –

“Customers have congratulated and been saying how much we deserve it.  It seems very surreal but we are totally grateful and can’t thank everyone enough”.  We thoroughly enjoy what we do (except sacrificing time with our children, perhaps) and want to keep on developing the business so we can improve our offering.  The feedback we get is vital to do this and we ensure we act upon the feedback so we are continuing to offer what the customers wish .”

Events and offers are ongoing and can be found on the website or by signing up to the newsletter.  Mary and Nick host a locals dinner every month to say thank you to the community.  These are a popular event and do get full quite quickly.
