An early summer party
Sunday 27 May, 12pm-late
Please note: this is a ticketed event
We’re doing something a little different for the second of the May bank holidays. Who’s joining us?
From 12pm until late join The Miller’s summer festival of fabulous food, drink and live music. While away the weekend without that Sunday night feeling. Inside and out we’re swapping table service for a series of food shacks and drinks stands. From oysters to hotdogs, champagne to craft beer, fill your boots!
Work your way around the stalls at your leisure, or according to your budget. We’re delighted to say some of our favourite producers are supplying the event: Roger Constant Lemaire Champagne and West Berkshire Brewery.
Our charities & the Party Passport
Upon arrival we’ll issue all guests with a Party Passport. Every time you buy something from one of the stalls, we’ll stamp your Party Passport. When you’re done with your passport or its full, put it in one of the three charity buckets (just like the Waitrose token system). After the event, we’ll count the passports in each bucket and donate £150 to the charity with the most passport, £100 to the next and £50 to the one in third place.
Our chosen charities for the event are: Goring Robins Football Team, The Morrell Room Streatley and Breast Cancer Now.
All completed passports will also be entered into a drawer to win, amongst other things, a magnum of Roger Constant Lemaire Champagne.
Relax, it’s a bank holiday weekend!
£5 entry tickets available in advance. Please book ahead so we know how much food to prepare!
We’ll stamp your hand on entry so you can come and go as you please throughout the day.
