We are re-opening…
There will be revised opening hours but we will be continuing with our Miller at Home offering as well as welcoming you back to The Miller albeit with a revised layout and service offering.
We want to ensure that you feel safe and relaxed when visiting us. So you’ll also find below details of the steps we’re taking to make The Miller Covid-safe.
Wednesday to Saturday we will be open from 11am.
- Lunch service: 12-2pm
- Dinner service: 6-9pm
On Sundays we will be open 8am-3pm for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The bar will close at 5pm.
We will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
Miller at Home
Before we closed due to lockdown, the demand and your support for our takeaway offering was tremendous – thank you.
We understand that not everyone is ready or keen to dine out but might appreciate not having to prepare dinner from scratch every night. So we’ll be launching Miller at Home as an alternative to dining in.
We’ll be able to take orders Wednesday to Saturday, 2-6pm, for next day collection also between the hours of 2pm and 6pm.

Stay at The Miller
Our rooms, bed and breakfast or dinner, bed and breakfast packages will be available as usual.
Work at The Miller
Some of our bedrooms will be available on a daily rate basis as an alternative to working from home. Whether you need a change of scenery or some peace and quiet for brainspace or to crack on with some calls, all our rooms have WiFi and their own tea and coffee making facilities.
To make a booking
As of Friday 3 July, you will be able to book a table to dine or a room in the the hotel via the website. From Monday 6 July you will also be able to book over the telephone on the usual number: 01491 872829 or by emailing us on email@example.com.
Please make a booking in advance if you wish to eat with us.
Please note that we will have to have a ‘no seat, no service’ policy in place – there will be strictly no bar service.
We are following all government guidelines and best practice measures, including risk assessments and other certification.
Our protocols will be regularly reviewed according to working practices and updates to government guidelines.
Staying Covid-safe is a two-way street. It requires us and the team as well as you, our guests, to practice common sense approaches to help keep everyone safe. We do really want to see you, but everyone’s health must come first.
The whole of Team Miller will take part in new health and hygiene training. Any necessary PPE will be provided for them.
As a pub, restaurant and hotel, we already adhere to strict cleaning protocols, and health and safety measures, but we will now be following enhanced procedures to ensure you can enjoy a thoroughly sanitised, clean and Covid secure compliant venue. Hand sanitiser will be available for you to use on the premises.
The latest government guidelines ask that we maintain a 1-metre-plus distance from those outside of one’s household. While adhering to this guideline, we’ll ensure your visit is as sociable as feasible.
Naturally, the service will be amended to accommodate social distancing guidelines as will the layout of tables. Our menus will be single-use and disposable.
However, Team Miller will still be here to serve you and guide you through your visit albeit in a socially distanced fashion. For now, it will be table service only and there will be no service available at the bar. The bar solely for us to use as a dispensing area.
Our fabulous courtyard garden will be very much part of our summer offering when the weather permits.
Checking in and out of the hotel
Hotel check in and out will be facilitated to factor in social distancing and speed.
