It’s safe to say that Nick is a pro in the kitchen, learning from the likes of Heston Blumenthal during his prestigious career. We are all in agreement that just staring at Nick’s menu of creative cuisine has us all hungry, and if you’ve ever popped in, we hope that you’d agree too. With that in mind, Nick is packing up his kitchen utensils and hitting the road this summer to perform at a selection of food festival cookery demos. It’s only fair his culinary genius is shared with the rest of us!
Nick’s festival cookery demo agenda
Nick will be travelling across the country to demonstrate how to prepare, cook and serve a selection of his favourite dishes. With an emphasis on seasonal ingredients, his simple yet elegant plates are designed to not only be devoured by the customer, but savoured too.
26-28 May – Blenheim Palace Food Festival
Nick will kick-off his summer tour by making an appearance at the fifth edition of the Blenheim Palace Food Festival. Filled with demonstrations, family activities and more tastings than ever, Nick will be gracing the chef demo stage alongside 2018 MasterChef champion Kenny Tutt and household name chef Raymond Blanc during the three day event.
16-17 June – Stonor Park Food Festival
The very first Stonor Park Food Festival will be held over the Father’s Day weekend and will feature over 45 stalls of local and specialist produce. Celebrity chefs in attendance include Masterchef 2016 finalists Billy & Jack, Great British Bake Off Finalist Stephen Carter-Bailey and national treasure Mary Berry. Nick’s in good company!
23 June – Abingdon Food & Drink Festival
Raising money for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, the Abingdon Food & Drink Festival returns to its fantastic riverside location for one day in June to celebrate all things foodie. Nick will be appearing on the fully equipped On Stage Kitchen as well as leading a children’s cookery demo later in the afternoon. Food and drink stalls, a cake making competition and live music complete the offering.
7-8 July – The Cotswold Show Food & Drinks Festival, Knebworth
Taking to the stage for the lunchtime slot on Saturday 7 July, Nick will be presenting a dish that involves Cotswold produce during his 40 minute demonstration. Other highlights include demonstrations from David Williams of Ellenborough Park and David Kelman from Cowley Manor. Move over Robbie Williams!
10-12 August – The Great British Food Festival, Chiswick
Nick will be rounding off his summer demonstration tour at the Chiswick leg of The Great British Food Festival. The weekend will feature approximately 80 traders, 810 minutes of live music and include 78 free demos and talks. Not to brag, but we’re sure Nick’s slot will be one of the best!
