Lunch menu pork ribeye October 2017Since we opened The Miller in April 2014, we’ve offered a set lunch menu. It’s a commonly used restaurant tactic to attract lunchtime eaters to test out your food in the hope they’ll like it and be curious enough to return for a full dining experience one evening for dinner.

Turns out, after a few months of talking to lunchtime guests and others, that actually most people want a ‘Miller’ food experience whatever time of day they dine with us. We say: ‘fair enough’.

So we’ve ditched our set lunch offering in favour of a fuller menu offering nibbles, starters, mains and desserts. The lunch menu is different to the dinner menu, but you’ll naturally spot some overlaps if you dine with us regularly.

The lunch is also flexible depending on how much time you have and how much you want to spend. You can savour three or four courses at leisure, of course. But we appreciate that passing walkers and workers want to be well fed and gone within the hour. The flexibility of choosing from nibbles to just a main course will hopefully impress that.

The menus will remain inherently seasonal and bursting with the best quality seasonal produce we can get our hands on. What’s more, we limit waste wherever possible, using as much of each ingredients as we can across the menu.

We often say we genuinely value our customers’ feedback. Well we certainly do and we thank everyone who’s thoughts have fed into helping us make this decision. We hope our lunch diners now have the choice they seek and much more of a Miller foodie experience.

We’ll continue to evolve what we do – in case you don’t know us well yet, that’s just what we do to keep thing fresh for our customers and interesting for guests regular and new.
