Chef/Owner Nick was invited back to assist in judging The British Pie Awards last week and so went up to Melton Mowbray to…eat pies! He got an interesting category this year – Specialty hot pies which he said “the flavours varied considerably from venison to pork from crocodile to kangaroo ” but he thoroughly enjoyed himself regardless. We missed him, but he came back ready to crack on…he certainly didn’t need dinner that night!
